It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we have to tell you that Tom Major passed away at 16.38 pm on Monday, 16th August. He had been very ill for many months and was undergoing palliative care in a hospital bed at home. In the end it was a peaceful release for him and his wife Iris was sitting with him as he slipped away.
Tom was a former President and Vice President of ECAA and was a holder of the Red Tassel Award.
The Funeral will be on Friday, 3rd September and he will leave from their home at 62, Brookdale Avenue, Upminster, RM14 2LT at 11.30 am. The Service will be at 12 noon in the chapel at Upminster Cemetery, Ockendon Road, Upminster, RM14 2UY which is through the 3rd gate entrance.
