Our friends in the Norfolk Archery Association have organised a weekend for coaches and longbow archers with the renowned Longbow aficionado Pip Bickerstaff on 26th and 27th April.

The session on the Friday evening is for coaches only who will be working with Pip exploring the different techniques used in Longbow Archery along with some very useful coaching tips.

The session on the Saturday is for both archers and coaches to learn more.

Full details are in these events on the County Calendar

Before I begin this report, I would like to say a huge thank you to a couple of people.

Firstly to my wonderful husband Tony. Without his support and patience I could not attend these wonderful competitions and would not have achieved the things that I have, not to mention his brilliant driving skills, I've been told (I'm usually asleep !!) You are AMAZING!! Thank you xxxxxxx

Secondly thank you to my coach, Matt Webb, without his guidance and expertise I wouldn't have a clue! He is always at the end of the phone, in good times and bad! His knowledge of archery is second to none and I really appreciate all his help ....... thanks Matt!

Details of the County matches for 2019 have been added to the Team Selection page on the web site

These include the Kent 4 way match on 26 May and the National County Team Championship at Lilleshall on 29/30 June. Details of the Indoor will be out later in the year.

The cut-off for sending in scores for these are 6th May and 31st May respectively so if you have any WA720, WA1440 or York/Hereford scores and would like to be considered to shoot at these fun events (just see some of Wendie King's write ups for just how good they are!) then make sure you get your scores sent in using the form.

If you have any questions about this then contact Sharon Lawrence, the Team Manager, on team.manager@ecaa.org.uk
