Given the restrictions on shooting are likely to be removed on 29th March then it is probably time to think about the Compound Albion League for 2021.
There will not be matches in April (you will need time to remember how to hold the bow) but if teams are interested then we could start in May and run through to September or October for the final round of matches.
If any clubs are interested in competing in this then please ensure the online entry form is completed at:-

For more details the either look on the Tournaments & Records -> Leagues -> Albion Compound League page or contact the Organiser at compound.league@ecaa.org.uk
The Western Longbow League is due to start in June this year (subject to restrictions) and the entry form is on the Tournaments & Records -> Leagues -> Western Longbow League page.
If your club is interested then please download and complete it and return the League Organiser at longbow.league@ecaa.org.uk.
To all Clubs in Essex and Suffolk Archery Association:
With the promise of Sports Clubs re-opening on 29th March, I am looking to form the ECAA Summer League for this coming season.
This will be an ALBION round and the dates are set for: 9th May, 13th June, 4th July, 1st August, 5th September.
If your club is interested, please reply to this email before 31st March. I will then issue the Entry Form to those who have replied and detail instructions as to how the shoot will comply with Government Guidelines.
I look forward to hearing from you.

As we approach the possibility of reopening archery in the county, it has been decided to hold a county meeting this Wednesday.
I have attached an agenda so that you can see the matters for discussion.
Obviously, with the current restrictions, the meeting will be held online, via the county Zoom account. If you would like to join us and have an input into moving the county forwards, please let me know and I will send you the link to allow you to log in.
Club secretaries, I would be grateful if you could forward this to your members, to allow them to also access the meeting.
Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you all on a field somewhere over the summer.

At the AGM yesterday (20th February) there were some changes to the Officers of the County.
Alan Munson stepped down as President after serving since 2018 and I hope everyone will join me in thanking him for all he has done in that time.
He is succeeded by Paul Clark. Paul is well known in the County and I am sure will pick up where Alan left off.
Kevin Juniper was elected to the role of General Member and is a great addition to the Executive.
Mark Lawrence was elected as Vice President (2021/2023) to go with his role as Senior Records Officer.
Maggie Pearce was appointed Honorary Live Vice President of the County. She stood down as Vice President after having served the county for 23 years so a huge congratulations and thank you Maggie.
