ECAA and SCAS Fees 1st October 2026 to 30th September 2027

A reminder that ECAA and SCAS fees for the period 1st October 2026 to 30th September 2027 are now due. Thanks to those clubs and individuals that have already submitted their return and payment, much appreciated.

The fees have not changed so the forms on the ECAA website under Governance/Membership Fees are current. Although AGB changed their process to renewal on anniversary of joining date, ECAA and SCAS did not follow suit and renewal fees are still due on 1st October.

Clubs should make a bulk return for all Current members using the 'Club membership' form. This should include those club members who pay their annual membership direct to AGB and those who pay via the club.

Individual members (i.e. those AGB members aligned to ECAA/SCAS, but not affiliated to a club) should use the 'Individual membership' form.

Both forms are available in Word and PDF format.

As a further reminder, ECAA/SCAS should be collected and paid in full when a new member joins a club for the part year from the joining date to 30th September. Note, there is no pro rata rate for that first year. They should then be included as part of the next bulk return covering a full year from 1st October.

In conjunction with the ECAA Secretary, Deb Horn, I now have access to regular reports drawn from Sport80 and am able to provide you with a sub-report for your club if required. This will include joining and membership expiry dates (to assist with AGB renewals throughout the year) as well as some basic summary statistics breaking down your club's membership. The latest report I have is dated 1st September 2026 and the next one will be drawn in early November, then every two months thereafter. Please let me know if you would like a club level report at any time, particularly to assist with the 1st October renewals.

Due to having the reports supplied by Deb and read only access to Sport80 at county level, I will be proposing at the next ECAA committee meeting in early November that the process be amended so that AGB membership confirmation no longer needs to be sent in with the ECAA/SCAS submissions. This should remove some of the workload from clubs, especially as AGB renewals now happen on anniversary of joining. If this gets agreed then the forms on the website will be updated, but please continue to use the current ones until any change is made.

Due to the number of clubs affiliated to ECAA a one size fits all approach may not always be practical, so, if the above process is going to be problematic due to the way that your club finances work, please get in touch with your alternate proposal.
