Its with regrets to let you know that West Essex Bowmen have had to cancel the "West Essex Junior Invite" tournament this year.
Initially scheduled for 18th May, we had to re-schedule it for 1st June, but can't proceed to organise due to operational reasons.

The entry form for the Having Over 45 shoot at Abbey Bowmen on 27th July 2019 has been published.
James and Anna have just moved house so the entry form for the Bill Tucker shoot on May 5th has been updated to reflect this.
Noak Hill have had a long association with Sarah Bettles who was coached, when she first took up archery as a youngster, by one of our members. We have followed her success in archery over the years and she is a very special member of Noak Hill Archers.
So when she asked if she and some of her team mates from the GB women's recurve team could use our club to train we of course said yes and were honoured to do so. We were only too happy to help and support members of the GB national team in any way we could. And in turn they were very willing too willing to pose for pics or chat to any of our juniors who were on half term break - a great experience/opportunity to them. Sarah is regular at Noak Hill when she is not competing abroad or at Lilleshall. She recently gave up her time to help coach some of our juniors - who recently gave an impressive individual performance at the Havering Youth Games and retained their 'team champions' title too.
For those of you, who have read my match reports, you will know of my fantastic trip to the World Masters, in Lausanne, Switzerland last year. Whilst there, we met a wonderful lady recurve archer from Italy called Annamaria Carrer After the competition, we stayed in touch and she kindly invited us to stay with her and shoot at a competition hosted by her club, in Rome, in March 2019.
So the gauntlet was laid down, of course, we had to go!!
The morning of departure arrived and with kit packed we departed at the crack of dawn, 7th March. We had allowed an extra hour on top of the normal, two hour before take off thing, so we left at 5am, 4 hours before our 9am take off!
