Sunday 23rd August was the first of what I hope will become an annual event, this year shot at Noak Hill Archers
The ECAA Longbow, a UK Records Status double National round was shot and was attended by 16 archers.
The weather was lovely on the day with only a light gentle breeze.
It was really nice to also see some archers who usually shoot recurve giving the longbow a go and I think everyone had a great day and met up with some old friends and made some new ones.
So, if you want to see this event continue in the future, get all your wooden sticks out and come along and let’s make it the premier longbow event in the south east.
