For the first year it was held at the Telford International Centre, where a large hall could hold around 50 bosses. A good number of Essex archers attended of which there were some very notable performances, especially from Joe Franklin, Sophie Cole, Sophie Brown, Luke Baharie and Grace Butterfield.

Gold Medalist - Daisy Clark Chelmsford Tudor Rose Junior Ladies U16 compound + overall National Champion
Ed Kearse and Daisy Clark were members of the victorious England Team which won the Home Nations Championship.
Daisy Clark, Sophie Cole and Sophie Brown all stayed overnight to compete in the senior National Indoor Championships the following day. Sophie Brown put in another solid performance just missing out on the cut by one place. Sophie Cole finished - qualifying in 21st place - with another good performance, in the first round of the head-to-heads came up against fellow Junior, Becky Martin, it was closely fought, but she was narrowly beaten. Daisy made her debut in the England Senior Team and continued her strong weekend finishing in 6th place. She won her first two head-two-head rounds before being knocked out by the eventual champion in the quarter finals.
