Philip Glover has been selected to be part of the British Universities team at this year’s Students Archery World Championships in Chinese Taipei between 7th and 10th July. Philip will be shooting his Compound bow and the tournament will consist of ‘Olympic’ 70m + head to head Individual and team rounds.
Philip, now reading Economics at Loughborough University, joined Mayflower as a junior in 2002. He was Junior National Compound Champion and an England team member in 2005. This is his first time on the International scene and has realised his current ambition to represent Great Britain. The team will consist of Stephanie Crang, Gloucester University (compound), Emma Downie, Edinburgh (recurve) and Andrew Callaway, Bournemouth (recurve).
We wish them all good luck and good shooting.
