The 4-way match became a 3-way match when London could not field a team; however the remaining counties, Essex, Kent and the hosts Middlesex, competed at the Greenwood Osterley A/C ground on Sunday. The weather conditions were marginally better than promised with no rain, but the wind was strong and gusty making shooting difficult throughout the day. However all the FITA/Metric rounds were completed without incident. Recurve, Compound, Longbow and Junior recurve teams were in action with the rules on final team composition being laid down by the host county.
The outcome was success for Essex, winning the Recurve, Longbow and Junior competitions and coming second in the compound.
The results were;
1st Essex 6930 , 2nd Middlesex 6627, 3rd Kent 6093
1st Kent – 5022, 2nd Essex 4960, 3rd Middlesex 4627
1st Essex – 2055 , 2nd Kent 1573, 3rd Middlesex 1462
1st Essex – 4568, 2nd Kent – 4577 **, 3rd Middlesex 3477
